Brokenness is not exactly something we strive for, is it?

But the ‘broken’ in us – the cracks that we all try so hard to hide – tells a story.

Of courage, of determination, of grit and resolve.

That’s the light you share with the world, when you bravely choose to be you.

And it is that. Brave, I mean. To face this world as your own worst critic with all the second-guessing and overthinking ringing in your ears. We’re all guilty of that, aren’t we – some days more than others?

But there’s also a light that goes beyond us.
A light that God gives when we come to Him with all our broken pieces.

No mess is too big,
no problem too small,
and no crack is too jagged or worn
for His light to shine through.

May you know and experience this truth in a new way today.

This light that illuminates the brokenness you bear,
and makes it into something beautiful.
