Tuesday 14 April. Well, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster ride to get here, but it’s official: my blog, Choosing Thankfulness, is now launched! Thank you so much to those who have encouraged me to make this jump. I think my About Me page captures it best, but today is literally a dream in motion. Since I was a little girl, I’ve always wanted to write. And just like that, I am. Funnily enough, that’s actually quite scary! And exciting, all at once. I guess that’s what new territory often feels like.
Today I’m thankful for learning curves (even steep and frustrating ones), a patient husband (who helped me figure out css coding and all sorts), for the friend who spurred on the 30 Days of Thankfulness posts that provided a base for me to kickstart from, for friends who have helped me spot errors, iron out kinks, given me tips and ideas, and even for this lockdown that has provided the time a project like this needed. A blessing in disguise.
And I’m thankful for you, the reader. My hope and prayer as you read, is that you might be blessed and encouraged by the musings of another traveller in this journey called life.
It’s still early days, and I’m still figuring out some of the finer details, but I’d love to hear from you!
